Booklet Design
Another of my favorite types of design is booklet layout and design. I love working with typography and combining them with imagery to produce interesting booklet layouts. I have created booklets for several different ocassions such as weddings, funerals, birthdays and so on. Most of the booklets I create are done primarily in Adobe InDesign with some minor editing in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Below are a few examples of my work in this area.
Motolani & Kolawole Wedding program
I was excited to work on this wedding program because the clients were close friends of mine and I wanted to create something unique for them. I decided to use a less conventional landscape style layout to create a bold, unique program booklet for their wedding ceremony. The program booklet was created with 5.5" x 8.5" folded size dimensions and the covers were printed on 130Ib gloss cover stock while the insides were printed on a while vellum paper.
Elizabeth Aro Funeral Program booklet
This client needed to create a program booklet for his late mother's funeral service. I used some of the pictures sent to me by the client along with some unique fonts and design elements to come up with this program booklet. This booklet was created with 5.5" x 8.5" portrait folded size dimensions. It was printed as a self-cover booklet on 100lb gloss text weight stock.
Erumu & Dayo Wedding program
This was another wedding program I created for some clients who were referred to me. Unlike a lot of the other programs i've created I leaned more heavily on Adobe Photoshop to create this wedding program. The booklet was created with 5.5" x 8.5" portrait folded size dimensions. It was printed as a self-cover booklet on 100lb gloss text weight stock
New Choice intervention banquet advertising program booklet
I did several advertising booklet projects such as this one. The client needed to raise money for their organization by hosting a fundraising banquet so they collected Advertisments from clients and had me set up some of them. The booklet was created with 8.5" x 11" portrait folded size dimensions. The covers were printed on 100Ib gloss cover stock while the insides were printed on 100lb uncoated text weight stock.
